Welcome to The History of the MNDT Page
The MNDT (Moroccan National Debate Team) was formed in the spring of 2014. The first team tryouts were done by invite-only due to shortage of funding. The students invited were scouted in the debate league in Morocco and a local debate clubs at private and public high schools and local language centers, such as the Center of Language & Culture (CLC) in Marrakech. The founding city of the MNDT, like everything else in life, is up for debate!
The first form of any base of location city for the MNDT was, one can say, Marrakech. This is the founder and coach, Soufiane Choubani, lived and worked when he launched the idea to the public. However, it should be noted that the first time they ever met together as MNDT team debaters and a coach, with Rim, Simohamed, Mohamed & Zakaira, was officially in Fez at the American School Fez (ASF).
Maybe, for the first time in a debate, a tie? You are share your thoughts: #MNDTFoundingCity
